The niche it fills

The Ferri is held in place by a magnet rather than being insertable, and it is noticeably quieter than the rest of the range. Both of those are practical rather than cosmetic distinctions.

On cam it shows up with performers broadcasting from shared housing, where noise is a real constraint. Off cam it is the model most often bought for use in public, for the same reason.
